另外也有一些是含有隱藏脂肪的菜式例如,加了大量醬汁的沙拉、白汁意粉中的醬汁、炒蛋多士裏的油份,這些食物都隱藏了很高的脂肪含量。


大家下次去咖啡店選擇叫意粉時盡量不要叫白汁或青醬,因為通常都加進了大量的牛油和芝士。三明治的餡料就不要選加工肉類,盡量選新鮮肉類,而且走醬料,那就可以減低鈉質和脂肪的吸收。

We can always find desserts like cakes, cookies and scones in cafes, these sweet treats are mostly high in fat and sugar content. A piece of tiramisu has 510 kcal, a piece of mille crepe cake has 450 kcal, and a piece of waffle has 220 kcal. Although waffle seems to be a better option, the syrup and toppings on the waffle also increase the calories and sugar content intake. A plain bagel and with a moderate amount of honey or jam will be a better option when craving for something sweet.


Moreover, there are some savoury dishes such as salad mixed with dressing, pasta with cream sauce, scrambled egg made with a large amount of oil, these dishes also have a high fat content.

Therefore, we can try to make healthier options when we go to cafe hopping next time. Avoid ordering the pasta dishes with cream or pesto sauce, as a large amount of butter and cheese are added during cooking. For sandwiches, avoid ordering processed meat and dressing, that will limit the sodium and fat intake.
