【We Are All Surrounded By Processed Foods】

It is not surprising that the nutritional value of food after processing has been greatly reduced. We are accustomed to some of the processed food products without noticing.

Research from the British National Diet and Nutrition Survey (2008~2016) pointed out that consuming 10% more ultra-processed foods in the daily diet, the risk of obesity will increase by 18%. The main reasons include:

🔸These products are generally higher in calories, fat, sugar and sodium

🔸Higher proportion of refined carbohydrates

🔸Lower fibre content
