攝取過量的雌激素會減低女性排卵以至生育能力。而男性體內雌激素過多,亦會導致胸部變大。而雖然人造激素進入雞隻後經血管傳遍體內,會被身體吸收,但每天要吃到大量含人造激素的同一款肉類才會攝取過量。而且香港已規管及禁止使用激素飼養禽畜或進口,所以都不用太擔心,市民仍需大量進食才會攝取過量激素。

Excessive intake of estrogen can reduce female ovulation and fertility. Too much estrogen in men can also lead to enlarged breasts. Although artificial hormones which enter the chickens and spread throughout the body through blood vessels will be absorbed by the body.


Moreover, Hong Kong has regulated and banned the use of hormones to raise poultry and livestock or import them, so there is no need to worry too much. People only get excessive hormone intake from consuming a large amount of meat with added artificial hormones.
